Day One Hundred and Sixty-Eight: Westward Bound

Haul out the sleeping bags; load up the tent; gather all the snacks: the Chex mix, the animal crackers, the PB & J; and don't forget the fire wood - we're going to Colorado!

But then, that message is as plain as the Aplha-Bits cereal pieces with which it was left (on my stove top, just before departure). There is perhaps no better cereal than Alph-Bits for in-car road-trip amusement.

Of course, with a host of audio books, photo opportunities, and static-infused radio stations to keep us entertained, Emily and I might not even nose our way into the sugary-yet-educational cereal. Lucy and Farley, on the other hand...

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go - no jet plane, though. Just a nice, long car ride to Aspen, Colorado - hopefully with plenty of pictures to show for it.
